Do you know someone who would be a great fit for one of our master’s programs in the Department of Public Health Sciences? Help grow our ’Cane community by referring a prospective student, and you may be eligible for a referral incentive when they enroll.

Eligible referrers may receive $500 for each successful referral who enrolls in an eligible master’s program, pending confirmation of enrollment and compliance with university policies.

  • How the Program Works

    1. Submit a referral by completing our online form.
    2. Our admissions team will connect with your referral and guide them through the application process.
    3. If your referral applies and enrolls, the referring individual will receive an incentive.

  • Who Can Refer

    The Bring a ’Cane, Earn a Gain program is open to:

    • Alumni
    • Current students

  • Eligible Master’s Programs

    Referrals may be submitted for the following master’s programs:

    • Master of Public Health (MPH)
    • Online Master of Public Health (Online MPH)
    • Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) 
    • MS in Biostatistics
    • MS in Prevention Science and Community Health

  • Referral Guidelines

    • Referrals must be submitted prior to the student’s application.
    • The prospective student must not already be actively engaged in the admissions process at the time of referral.
    • Incentives are issued after enrollment is confirmed.
    • Incentives may be considered taxable income, depending on individual circumstances.
    • All referrals and incentives are subject to university policies, funding availability, and final approval.
